We bring fencing to you!

We provide all the equipment and clothing you'll need and if you can provide the venue, we can bring the experience of fencing with the sword right to your offices.  Or, if you don't have the space, we'll help arrange a venue too, convenient to your premises.

What's the format?

It's simple.  We introduce you to the basics of epee (which is the weapon we focus on), how to stand, how to move and the principles of the fight.  We put you in teams (to balance out age/height/build differences hopefully) and set you off in a mini-tournament with a magnificent fun prize to the winners.  Or, we run an individual event with appropriate prizes.  Everyone gets involved, everyone has a go at a new and different sport, everyone comes away feeling they've learnt a new skill and something about one to one combat with a weapon!

What's 'epee' like?

Epee is the weapon based on a duelling weapon, so the principle of the sport is easily grasped - hit your opponent before they hit you, without getting hit at the same time.  You can hit anywhere on the body, no restrictions.  In a duel first blood wins and so it is with epee.  And if you both score at the same time, you both get a hit.

How long and how much?

We recommend a clear 2 hours, to give you time to get into kit and so on.  A short refreshments break midway, and the larger part spent running a mini tournament.  Cost according to venue and numbers, but inro £25-£35 per head for numbers from 8 - 16 (approximate maximum).  

We can cope with larger numbers but will need to find a suitably large venue and may bring two coaches along.
